Vintage American 1931 Waltham Knight Art deco watch, enamel bezel, 15 jewel movement. 31mm x 30mm in case diameter.
 
1931 Waltham Knight, very similar to the Waltham Chevalier. A rare Art Deco model from Waltham.
A beautiful watch with enamel bezel and Arabic numerals on this, 31mm x 30mm Nickel Chrome plated case.
A lovely 15 jewel Waltham movement in good looking condition cosmetically. Keeping time to within +20 seconds a day.

Dial:
The dial has a lovely design which matches the barrel shape of the case.
There is a barrel shaped central design as well as a barrel shaped sub-second track.
The dial is in average condition. There are areas were the paint has reacted or worn, however
their is no wear to the print of the signed dial, the tracks or the sub-second dial.
The sub-second dial is sunk into the dial.
 
Hands:
The hands are original and free of bending and corrosion. A lovely pair of thermally blued hands.
 
Bezel:
The bezel has one chip out of the enamel between 5 and 6. Otherwise it remains in good condition.
 
Glass:
The cut glass is original and is in perfect condition.
 
Crown:
Appears original, winds and sets as it should.
 
Case:
A case that is in good condition. The engraving on the sides would have been black enamelled but this has worn.
 
Caseback:
Nickel back with wear to chrome plating, no dents or scratches.
 
Strap:
A new 16mm genuine leather strap.
 
Movement:
A lovely 15 jewel Waltham movement in good looking condition cosmetically.
Keeping time to within +20 seconds a day, with a strong amplitude of 260 degrees and a beat error of 3.5 m/s.
