A stunning large Art Deco rectangular tank watch, Bulova President watch on original bracelet, Circa 1938 with a recently serviced 21 jewel, adjusted 7AP movement. The case is 10k Gold Filled with engraving on the bezel. Strong original condition with original bracelet and glass. A nicely aged dial. The bracelet has expansion.
 
 
Dial: 
The dial has a subtly curved profile and is in great, original condition. It is a cream/white colour with very limited area of dirt. 
It is signed with Bulova at 12 o'clock. The sub seconds track is clear with no marking or wear.
The minute and hour track is in strong condition, with no wear to numerals or track. 
 
Hands:
The hands are un-bent and un-corroded. They are gold in colouration. The style is classified as "Plume".
The sub-second hand may be a replacement as it extends past the margins of the sub second track
 
Glass:
The glass is original and in exceptional condition perfectly fitting the cases curvature.
 
Crown:
The crown fits flush to the case and winds and sets well.
 
Case: 
The case is in strong condition with only a few VERY light surface scratches. A very nice original case that hasn't been polished. 
 
Lugs:
The lugs show no sign of wear on the gold fill.
 
Case back:
 Only light surface scratches externally. Marked with serial number and 10k GF mark on the outside. The inside is marked Bulova Fifth Avenue New York. It also has some service markings.
 
Bracelet:
The bracelet is original and fits up to a 7 inch wrist without expansion but there is an inch of extension via a sliding feature on the clasp. The clasp does not always stay in place well. 
 
Movement:
The movement is manual wind and has been serviced by a professional watchmaker.
