Here we have a lovely pre-owned example of a June 2024 Christopher Ward C1 Bel Canto, with Cielo dial. It is a striking example of accessible haute horlogerie, combining innovative mechanics and clean design. The case measures 41mm and is constructed of Grade 5 Titanium, which ensures the watch is durable and light. The Cielo dial has a sunburst finish which varies from pale blue to soft grey, inspired by the Italian sky. At 12 O’clock is the floating sub-dial which displays the time, suspended by a polished and brushed bridge, offering a dynamic visual experience. The hands and indexes are filled with Super-LumiNova to ensure night visibility.

The watch is powered by the FS01 movement, which was developed in collaboration with Armin Strom. It is an automatic movement with a jewel count of 29 and a 38-hour power reserve. Every 60 minutes a hammer strikes the chime to mark the hour (Sonnerie au Passage complication). The pusher at 4 o’clock allows you to activate or disable the chime, with the arrow indicating the mode.

The Grade 2 Titanium bracelet is light and easily adjustable due to the ratchet clasp. It has screwed links and is easily changeable thanks to the quick release.

The sapphire crystal is domed and has impressive anti-reflective properties, ensuring you can enjoy the dial from every angle.

The finishing to the chime complication is excellent with the polished hammer, spring and bridges which were designed to resemble a songbird. Each piece was crafted by hand by fine Swiss artisans.

Winner of the “Petite Aigulle” Prize at the GPHG in 2023.

This is a full set which comes with all its original accompaniments. It also comes with two leather straps. It still has just over 4 years of warranty on the movement.

The watch is in very good pre-owned condition, with only some light marks to the clasp and bracelet. Enjoy a Bel Canto and save on the full retail price.
