Released in 1993, the Seamaster Professional Diver 300m has enjoyed a cult following.
Today’s modern collection has embraced the models history, whilst updating it with Omegas innovation and design.
The 42mm model is crafted from stainless steel and includes a unidirectional black ceramic bezel with white enamel count down figures. The dial is polished black ceramic and features laser engraved waves, with applied hour markers and date window. It has a screwdown crown to aid water resistance.
The skeleton hands and raised indexes are rhodium-plated and are filled with white Super-LumiNova, while the helium escape valve has been given a conical design.
The crystal is a domed, scratch-resistant sapphire crystal with anti-reflective treatment on both sides. There is a sapphire exhibition case back to provide a window to the movement, with wave-edged caseback.
The watch is presented on a Steel bracelet which has locking fold over clasp with comfort adjustment and diver extension.
It is powered by the Master Chronometer Calibre 8800, with Co-Axial escapement. It has a 55-hour power reserve, with free sprung balance and silicon balance spring. It is also Rhodium plated with Geneva waves in arabesque.
The movement is anti-magnetic. It is unaffected by exposure to strong magnetic fields, even those greater than 15,000 gauss. The watch is COSC chronometer certified, as well as Master Chronometer Certified by METAS.
The Helium escape valve is a decompression system, allowing Helium to escape from inside the watch when it is worn for professional use in pressure chambers.
Condition wise, the watch is as new with some light surface scratches on polished surfaces.
It is a full set with operating instructions, chronometer card, warranty card and pictogram card.
It has all of its original links, its original hang tag and original film cover. The bracelet is currently sized to a 7” diameter.
Warranty is dated 19/02/2023 and is under warranty until 19/02/2028.
Retailing for £5600, these represent excellent value on the pre-owned market.
