2020 Tudor Black Bay Bronze 79250BA, 43mm, In-House MT5601, Box & Papers
The case is a 43mm bronze case with bronze-coloured PVD-treated steel case back and satin finish. It is waterproof to 200m (660ft). It has a screw down crown with an engraved Tudor rose logo.
The bezel is unidirectional rotating in bronze with 60-minute graduated disc in matt slate grey anodised aluminium. The dial is a beautiful slate grey, with a domed shape, with domed Sapphire crystal.
The movement is the In-house Calibre MT5601 (COSC), which is a self-winding mechanical movement with bidirectional rotor system. The power reserve is approximately 70 hours, a silicon hairspring and a free-sprung Microstella balance wheel.
The strap is a slate grey fabric strap with a bronze buckle. The drilled lugs make strap changes much easier than other black bay models.
The watch has aged over the last 21 months, giving it a neat patina on the bronze case and buckle.
The glass is sapphire crystal and is in average condition. It has a light scratch running from 7 o'clock up to 1 o'clock. This is only visible in certain lights, but is the reason this example is slightly less costly than others.
The watch has nearly 3 and a half years warranty remaining.
Dial:
The dial is in perfect condition and has a beautiful matte slate grey finish. It has the raised hour markers and gilt minute track, Tudor logo and depth and chronometer signing. The dial has dot hour markers, Arabic 3, 6, 9 and a triangle maker at 12 O’clock.
The creamy grey hue extends out to a darker tone, matching the aluminium dive bezel.
Hands:
The hands are original. They are of snowflake style and are in excellent condition.
Glass:
The glass is sapphire crystal and is in average condition. It has a light scratch running from 7 o'clock up to 1 o'clock. This is only visible in certain lights, but is the reason this example is slightly less costly than others.
Crown:
The crown is original and is in excellent condition.
Case:
The case is a 43mm bronze case in excellent original condition. It has oxidised with age as is intended.
Caseback:
The case back is bronze-coloured PVD-treated steel. It is in excellent condition.
Strap:
The strap is a slate grey fabric strap with a bronze buckle. The buckle has aged with some green developing.
Movement:
The movement is the In-house Calibre MT5601 (COSC), which is a self-winding mechanical movement with bidirectional rotor system. The power reserve is approximately 70 hours.
It has a daily loss of -1 second, with an amplitude of 325 degrees and a beat error of 0.1 m/s.
