For sale we have a watch that has an impressive array of features for its price range and is a very nicely designed diver. It is a watch that you may not be aware of but is a great choice in the lower mid-range diver watch category.
This is a 2011 Tissot Seastar 1000 Diver watch, reference T066407A. It is on a Tissot Stainless-Steel bracelet with diver extension. It has a water resistance rating of 300m, with a Helium escape valve. It has a sapphire crystal to the front and a sapphire crystal exhibition case back. It also has a screw down crown, date indicator, quickset date, hacking seconds and a good quality ETA 2824-2 movement. It comes with its full box, papers, guarantee, hangtag, information booklets and book on the history of Tissot.
The case is Stainless Steel and measures 42mm without crown and 45mm with crown. It has a length of 42mm and a lug-to-lug measurement of 48.5mm. It has deep angular lugs which have a brushed finish to the top, with a polished bevel, before falling into vertically brushed sides. The sides of the case have a vertical brushed finish with two cut out sections that are polished. The left-hand side has a Helium Escape valve. The right side has a crown guard.
The bezel is in good condition. It is a countdown bezel that is uni directional. It has a sand blasted finish with brushed sections on the notches. The case back is Stainless Steel and is screw back with a sapphire crystal exhibition back to the centre.
The dial is a black tone with inset centre section. It is surrounded by a charcoal tone chapter ring which has dash second/minute markers. The 10 second markers are blue. The dial is clear with large white hour markers. The 12 and 6 are Arabic, whilst the other markers are dot shaped. There are larger markers at 9 and 3 with the date window at 3 O’clock.
The hands are a silver tone with a sandblasted finish. They have a skeletonised section and lume in-fill to the tips. The central second is a bright blue with a lollipop end and a T shaped counterbalance.
The Sapphire Crystal is in good condition with no marks. The crown is original and is signed with the Tissot logo. It is in good condition.
The bracelet is original and has the reference T066407A. The clasp is signed Tissot. It has a mixture of brushed and polished finishes. It has quite a bit of light surface scratching associated with wear. It will fit a 7.75” wrist diameter and has dive extension. It has a spare link included with the watch to allow it to fit a larger wrist. The bracelet has split pins which push in and out of place.
The movement is an ETA 2824-2. It is an automatic movement with a jewel count of 25. It operates at a frequency of 28,800 BPH and has a power reserve of 42 hours. It has a sweep second hand, date function with quickset and hacking seconds. The movement service history is unknown, but the movement is in good condition. It has a daily loss of -6 seconds a day.

Dial:
The dial is in perfect condition. The dial is a black tone with inset centre section. It is surrounded by a charcoal tone chapter ring which has dash second/minute markers. The 10 second markers are blue. The dial is clear with large white hour markers. The 12 and 6 are Arabic, whilst the other markers are dot shaped. There are larger markers at 9 and 3 with the date window at 3 O’clock. The dial is signed Tissot 1853 with the Seastar name in blue and automatic below.
Hands:

The case back is Stainless Steel and is screw back. It is in good condition with only light surface scratches. It has a circular grained finish. It has a Sapphire crystal to the centre, which has some slight blemishes to the edge.
Strap:
The bracelet is original and has the reference T066407A. The clasp is signed Tissot. It has a mixture of brushed and polished finishes. It has quite a bit of light surface scratching associated with wear. It will fit a 7.75” wrist diameter and has dive extension.
