Here we have a 2005 Tudor Prince Date 34mm, reference 74034. It has a stainless-steel case and bracelet, with an 18ct white gold fluted bezel. The factory original black dial has silver signing and 10 diamond hour markers. It comes on a reference 62470 bracelet, with 628 endlinks. It is a full set example with box, hang tag and paperwork.

A lesser seen model within the UK market, being particularly popular in Asia. This 18ct white gold bezel, black dial variation with factory diamonds, is the only one currently available in the UK.

For some, diamonds may be too much. However, this example offers a blend of sleek and luxury design touches which intertwine effortlessly. The black dial with subtle silver signing, is the perfect base for the balanced diamond hour markers. The single tone of the watch, with the white gold bezel, stainless case & bracelet, allows the watch to give off a more subtle approach. The eye is drawn to the crisp fluted bezel and the polished centre links of the bracelet, which balance nicely with the accents provided by the diamonds.

The Steel case is of classic Oyster design with screw down crown and case back. The mix of brushed finishing to the top of the case, with the polished sides is excellent executed. The 18ct white gold fluted bezel is sharp, catching the light. It holds the flat sapphire crystal with cyclops date magnifier.

The 34mm sizing of the case affords the watch versatility, allowing it to seamlessly transition from formal occasions to everyday wear. For those who think the sizing is somewhat small for the male wrist, as is expected with Oyster cases, the strict width is enhanced by the screw down crown and the lug-to-lug length of 41.5mm.

This reference offers impeccable Swiss craftsmanship and design, at a fraction of the price of a Rolex Datejust of the same age.

With the Tudor upgraded ETA 2824-2 movement inside, you can rest assured that the watch will be a reliable timekeeper and won’t break the bank when it comes to a service. It has a current daily variation of 2 seconds a day.

A full set example. It comes complete with its correct outer box, with the reference sticker attached. It also comes with the correct hang tag with reference and serial number sticker.

The papers are signed ‘Oriental Watch Co LTD, Hong Kong’.

It comes with a spare link for the bracelet.
