Here we have a circa 2000s Tag Heuer Professional 2000, 200m rated diver watch, which is the model reference WN1151. It has the 38mm stainless steel case with the 18ct gold bezel. It has the brushed finishing with the screw down back. To the right is the screw down crown with logo. The dial is the dark grey tone with sunburst finish. It has the Arabic and baton hour markers (balanced with the date window at 3) with luminous plots. Inside is the Heuer calibre 2.99, which is the ETA 955.112 base calibre. It has had a new battery fitted and functions well. The watch comes on its original steel bracelet reference FAA000.

The dial is a dark grey tone with the sunburst finish which catches the eye. It has the silver minute track with breaks for square luminous plots at 6, 9 and 12. The hour markers are of facetted baton design with the luminous tips. The 6, 9 and 12 markers have the large arabic numerals which balanced with the date window at 3. The date window has the silver surround with bevelled edges to the window. The wheel is bright white with the black arabic signing. The Tag Heuer logo sits below 12 in silver, with the ‘Professional 200m’ signing above 6 O’clock. It is signed ‘Swiss Made’ either side of 6.

The case measures 38mm wide without crown, with the lug-to-lug measurement of 44mm and case depth of 9.5mm. The 38mm width, combined with the depth being just under 10mm, makes this a neat wear. It still has a good presence due to the lug-to-lug measurement, width with crown and lug width allowing a strong bracelet.

The uni-directional bezel sits proud of the case and protects the sapphire crystal. It has the raised steel inner section protecting the crystal, with its sections extending to form the markers, which alternate with the engraved Arabic countdown on the gold section. The bezel has the dodecagon shape with its 12 sides. The 18ct gold section of the bezel has the brushed finish with the clearly engraved arabic numerals. The lume pip is set at 12 O’clock.

The case has an interesting design which juts out in the middle. The crown guard on the right does this, but it is uncommon to match the form on the other side. This provides a symmetry to the design. The top of the case is subtly sloped, leading into the polished bevel, flowing into the flat sides. It has the satin brushed finishing.

To the right is the screwdown crown with the Heuer logo. To the rear, the is the screwback which is signed with the ‘Tag Heuer’ name and logo. The model reference and serial number are faint, but still visible. This is due to wear against the wrist.

Inside is the Heuer calibre 2.99, which is the ETA 955.112 base calibre. It is a 7 jewel quartz movement which has the quickset date function. It has had a new battery fitted and functions well, keeping accurate time.

The watch is presented on its original bracelet reference FAA000. It has the curved outer links with the brushed finishing. The centre links have the angular design with the polished finish. It has the Tag Heuer logo to the clasp folding lock. It has divers extension which increases the length. Without the divers extension it will fit up to a 7.8” wrist circumference.

The watch is modelled on a 7” wrist circumference.
