For sale we have a classic 1988 Rolex Lady Datejust bi-metal, Stainless and 18k gold watch. It has a 26mm case and is the reference 69173. It has an 18k yellow gold Rolex signed screw down crown, allowing it 100m water resistance. It has the 18k yellow gold fluted bezel with a sapphire crystal with date magnifier.  It is a classic champagne dial with baton hour markers with lume plots, applied Rolex logo, Oyster perpetual datejust signing and chronometer signing, with date window. It has its original baton hands with luminous in-fill to the centre. The dial is signed T Swiss T to the foot. It is presented on its original steel and 18k gold jubilee bracelet with signed Rolex clasp. Inside is the Rolex cal 2135 automatic, chronometer grade movement.

This is a nice original example, that hasn’t been toyed about with, or had aftermarket parts fitted. Whilst full size Datejusts are often worn on a ladies wrist today, these still represent an iconic and classic timepiece for a ladies wrist. This is demonstrated by the increase in value of this reference over the last 10 years.

The watch comes with an original Rolex inner and outer box, but no paperwork. It has a service receipt from Goldsmiths dating to 2011. It has since been serviced by an independent watchmaker.
