For sale we have a 1985 Citizen Quartz water resist watch with day date display. It is the reference 6101-S43528. It has a neat 35mm Stainless Steel case, with neat, brushed finish and sharp lugs. It has a polished bezel and case sides. A very neat and well-designed case, similar to that of the Rolex Oysters from the 1950s onwards. A classic and clean dial, silver tone with linear brushing with polished hour batons logo and date window surround. Clear day date window in English. On the original Citizen bracelet, with screwback case and Quartz cal 6101A movement inside running well.
 
It is a very clean example which could still be a classic every day wear for its new owner. With the reliability of it’s Japanese quartz movement and its neat Rolex Aesthetic it’s an affordable piece of joy.

Dial: 
The dial is completely original and is in very good condition with no visible marks or corrosion. It has original lume pips and clean linear brushing.
 
Hands: 
The hands are original and of facetted index style, in excellent condition. The central second hand is also original and is in good condition. 
 
Glass: 
This is the original acrylic crystal which is in good condition.
 
Crown: 
The crown is original and is made of Stainless Steel.
 
Case:
The case is made of Stainless Steel and is in good condition. The polished bezel has some light surface scratching. The centre piece of the case has a brushed finish on top of the lugs, with polished case sides in good condition. The lugs are clean and sharp. 
 
Caseback:
The case back is in good condition with light surface scratching. It is polished with clear engraving and signing. 
 
Strap: 
Original Citizen steel bracelet with original end links. The bracelet is comfortable, long and is in good condition. It will fit up to an 8” wrist.
 
Movement:
The movement is the Citizen Quartz calibre 6101A. It is in good condition and is working well. It has not been serviced but has had a new battery fitted. It is keeping time to +8 seconds a month.
