For sale we have a late 1970s Bulova Longchamp manual wind dress watch, with a beautiful harlequin sectored textured dial. It is a classic 1970s design with a C-shaped case. It is well proportioned, with the case measuring 35mm x 33.75mm without lugs. The watch is in excellent original condition, with original sticker on the rear.
 
The standout aspect of the watch is the dial, which has a harlequin sector textured finish. This is a very unusual texture. It is a crisp dress dial with applied baton hour markers and the signing Bulova Longchamp Swiss Made. Infitting with the dress watch style it has only an hour and minute hand. These are painted black and of sword style.
 
The case is C-shaped and has a lovely satin brushed finish. The crown is recessed into the case and is signed with the Bulova logo. The Stainless Steel case back has the original sticker to the rear.
 
It is on a new leather strap, which has the original Bulova signed buckle.
 
The movement is a Bulova calibre 10EB. It is manual wind, with a jewel count of 17 and Incabloc shock protection. The service history is unknown, however the movement is in good condition keeping acceptable time. It has a daily gain of +45 seconds.

Dial: 
The dial is in very good original condition. It has a harlequin grained sector finish. This is a very unusual texture. It is simple with applied baton hour markers and the signing Bulova Longchamp Swiss Made.
 
Hands: 
The hands are original. They are in perfect condition. They are of sword style painted black.  
 
Glass: 
The crystal is original and is in very good condition 
 
Crown: 
The crown is original. It is recessed into the case and is signed with the Bulova logo.
 
Case:
The case is chrome plated and is in very good original condition. It has a brushed finish. It is in near new old stock condition. It does have some slight surface marks from storage and opening of the case. 
 
Caseback:
The case back is Stainless Steel and is in very good condition. It has the original grained finish which is in excellent condition. It still has the sticker to the rear
 
Strap:
The watch is on a new black leather strap which is in good condition. It will fit up to a 8 inch wrist diameter. The buckle is stainless steel and is original, signed Bulova.
 
Movement: 
The movement is a Bulova calibre 10EB. It is manual wind, with a jewel count of 17 and Incabloc shock protection.
 
The service history is unknown, however the movement is in good condition keeping acceptable time. It has a daily gain of +45 seconds, with an amplitude of 225 degrees and a beat error of 9.7 m/s.
