1973 Vintage Seiko Chariot 2220-0300 watch with Linen dial, Hi-Beat 28800. A renown Seiko manual wind calibre, with an excellent Linen dial.
 
 
Dial: 
The dial is in good, original condition. It is a light silver tone. The Seiko writing is very clear, with large markers for the hours, with a silver, applied marker at 12, 3, 6 and 9. The dial has a slightly darker tone that radiates around the outside, please see images.
 
Hands:
The hands are un-bent and un-corroded. They are original, black baton hands.
 
Glass:
The plexi-glass is in poor condition and would benefit from replacement.
 
Crown:
The crown is original, fitting flush to the case.
 
Case: 
The case is in strong condition with only light surface scratches that are consistent with age. 
 
Case back:
Strong condition with multiple light surface scratches and some slightly deeper scratches. 
 
Lugs:
The lugs are in good condition.
 
Strap:
16mm leather strap, new.
 
Movement:
The movement keeps excellent time, gaining 17 seconds a day, with an amplitude of 240 and a beat error of 1m/s.
