For sale we have a 1977 Omega De Ville Quartz Stainless Steel dress watch. The watches reference is 1910044 and it has an Omega quartz calibre 1330 inside. This is a classic quartz dress watch from the 1970s, with a lovely linear brushed silver dial. The time is set via a corrector in the crown which is depressed to advance the hands.

Dial:
The dial is in average original condition. It is a silver base tone with a satin linear brushed finish. It is a simple and clear dial with dash markers for the minutes around the exterior, with large thin baton markers for hours. The baton markers are three-dimensional and are silver tone, with a black painted strip to the centre. It is signed Omega Quartz with the Omega logo, with De Ville below the handset. It is signed Swiss made to the case. There is a slight blemish to the right of the 6 O’clock marker, whilst there are some minor areas of corrosion on the dial.
Hands:
The hands are original. They are of sword style and are black painted on Stainless Steel. They are in good condition.
Glass:
The acrylic crystal is original and has the Omega logo etched to the centre.
Crown:
The corrector is original and has a neat coin edge finish. It has some light surface scratches but is in good condition. The pusher sets the hands as it should.
Case:
The cushion case is formed of Stainless Steel and is in average condition. It has quite a lot of light surface scratching consistent with age. The case has a polished finish. The lugs are short and of an angular design. The case is quite flat to the top, whilst the back is deeper.
Caseback:
The case back is formed of Stainless Steel. It is in good condition, with surface scratching consistent with ageing. It has a brushed finish.
Inside it is signed; Acier Inoxydable, Omega Watch Co, Fab. Suisse, GRSA. It has the reference number 191.0044.
Strap:
The strap is genuine leather for 18mm lug width. It will fit from a up to an 8-inch wrist diameter.
Movement:
The movement is an Omega 1330. It has a jewel count of 3 and operates at a frequency of 32768 Hz. It is quartz controlled with a stepper motor. The time is set with a pusher in the crown.
The service history is unknown, however the movement is in good condition keeping good time as expected for a quartz calibre.
