For sale we have a well proportioned 38mm wide Near NOS Lanco Coke bezel skin diver sports watch. The movement is a Swiss 25 jewel automatic movement, with quickset date function and Incabloc shock protection. It has a frequency of 21,600 BPH. It is on its original Lanco Stainless Steel bracelet. It is in near NOS condition, having clearly seen very little wear.
The typical 1970s C shaped case is chrome plated and is in very good original condition with a polished finish. The top is curved, with the sides flat. The case back is Stainless Steel and it’s in very good condition with only light surface scratches. It has a polished finish. It is marked “Stainless Steel back, Water resistant, Anti-magnetic”. It is also signed with the serial number 35565.
The dial is in perfect original condition and has no signs of aging. It has a bright orange chapter ring around the exterior, adding a 70s pop of colour. There is a white minute/seconds track, with baton shaped hour markers. These are painted with Tritium lume. The 6,9,12 markers are larger with a central orange stripe and a lume stripe either side. The date window is at 3 O’clock and adds balance to the dial. It has Orange signing to the dial. The hands are of stick style and are painted bright white, with Tritium lume in-fill to the centre. The central second hand is original and is painted bright orange, matching the dial signing.
The bezel is in very good original condition. It is bi-directional with a countdown insert. It has a red and black coke colour scheme. It has a notched edge which is in good condition.
The bracelet is original to the watch and is Stainless Steel. It has the Lanco logo to the clasp. It is in very good original condition and will fit up to a 7.5” wrist diameter.
The movement is a Swiss 25 jewel automatic movement, with quickset date function and Incabloc shock protection. It has a frequency of 21,600 BPH. The service history is unknown, however the movement is in good condition keeping very good time. It has a daily gain of +37 seconds, with an amplitude of 285 degrees and a beat error of 0.4m/s.

Dial:
The dial is in perfect original condition and has no signs of aging. It has a bright orange chapter ring around the exterior, adding a 70s pop of colour. There is a white minute/seconds track, with baton shaped hour markers. These are painted with Tritium lume. The 6,9,12 markers are larger with a central orange stripe and a lume stripe either side. The date window is at 3 O’clock and adds balance to the dial. The dial is signed Lanco Swiss below 12 O’clock, with 25 jewels, Incabloc, Automatic, with T Swiss Made T to the foot of the dial.
Hands:
The hands are original. They are of stick style and are painted bright white, with Tritium lume in-fill to the centre. The central second hand is original and is painted bright orange. They are in perfect condition with no scratching or bending.
Glass:
The acrylic crystal is in good condition but scratches easily.
Crown:
The crown is original and is in excellent original condition. It winds and sets the time and date as it should.
Bezel:
The bezel is in very good original condition. It is bi-directional with a countdown insert. It has a red and black coke colour scheme. It has a notched edge which is in good condition.
