1970s Gold Plated Rotary dress watch
AS 1901
Box and papers,
The dial is in good, original condition. It is a light silver tone with a beautiful finish, radiating a burst from the middle in the light. The "Rotary" writing is very clear, along with the " Swiss made" marks at 6 o'clock. The minutes track is also very clear with no wear.  The numerals are applied and add nice depth to the dial. They are in good condition. The dial has speckled green dots between 10 and 12 and 1 and 3. Please see images.
The hands are un-bent and un-corroded. They are original gold coloured hands.
The plexi-glass is in good condition but it has some small scratches around the edges. These are not deep.
The crown is original, fitting flush to the case. The plating has worn significantly on it.
The case is in strong condition with only light surface scratches that are consistent with age. HOWEVER the plating shows significant signs of wear around the watch, please see images.
Case back:
Strong condition with multiple light surface scratches. It is Stainless Steel.
The lugs are in good condition.
18mm leather strap, new.
The movement is a manual wind, AS calibre 1901, 21 jewel variant with a 21600 frequency movement. The watch keeps good time, gaining approximately 50 seconds a day, with an amplitude of 250 and a beat error of 0.7 m/s
