Excellent, sunburst radiating dial in excellent condition.

A stylish cushion cased watch, equally comfortable as a dress watch or a sports watch.

Dial:

The dial is in excellent, original condition. It is a light silver tone with a beautiful finish, radiating a burst from the middle in the light. The "Bucherer Automatic" writing is very clear, along with the "T Swiss T" marks at 6 o'clock. The minutes track is also very clear with no wear. There is one Tritium luminous pip missing next to the date window at 3 o'clock. The numerals are applied and add nice depth to the dial. They are in good condition. The window around the date is clear, with a faceted edge, falling away towards the date wheel on all sides.

Hands:

The hands are un-bent and un-corroded. They are original sword hands, with original Tritium lume infill which has darkened with age.

They are lovely thermally blued hands.

Glass:

The plexi-glass is in good condition but it has some small scratches around the edges. These are not deep.

Crown:

The crown is original, fitting flush to the case. The plating has worn significantly on it.

Case:

The case is in strong condition with only light surface scratches that are consistent with age. The case has pitted slightly in areas as the Chrome plate has worn.

Case back:

Strong condition with multiple light surface scratches. It is Stainless Steel.

Lugs:

The lugs are in good condition.

Strap:

18mm leather strap, new.

Movement:

The movement is an AS calibre 1902/03, 21 jewel variant with a 21600 frequency movement, with non quick set date. The watch keeps excellent time, gaining approximately 43 seconds a day, with an amplitude of 240 and a beat error of 0.7 m/s.
