1960s 18ct gold Jaeger Lecoultre slim dress watch, 33mm K885 movement.
 
It is keeping time to within +9 seconds a day with a strong amplitude and low beat error.
 
This is a beautiful example of a mid 1960s solid 18ct gold dress watch by the esteemed brand Jaeger Lecoultre. The case is a beautiful, slim design and neatly proportioned at 33mm. The dial is in excellent condition, as is the cal. K885 movement.
The dial is signed JLC, along with the crown, the inside of the case back and the movement.
 
The back of the case has an engraving of the rose on it which can be polished if desired. The watch is incredibly slim due to it's monocoque case.
 
The dial and movement are accessed by removing the glass. The stem is a split stem which pulls out to remove the movement and dial.

Dial: 
An incredibly well preserved dial with original Tritium lume pips on the hour markers. No corrosion to any gold aspects, with the JLC applied logo in excellent condition, as well as the hour markers. There are no scratches or marks, this is a dial in excellent condition.
 
Hands:
The hands are original and have no signs of wear. There is some light corrosion on the hands consistent with age. They are all original.
 
Glass: 
The plexi-glass has light surface scratching with a couple of slightly deeper scratches which can be polished out.
 
Crown: 
The crown is in very good condition with little wear. It has the "JLC" signing on it.
 
Case: 
The case is solid 18k yellow gold. It is in good condition with no deep scratches or dints, only surface scratching. It is unpolished and original.
 
Caseback: 
This is integrated into the rest of the case as it is a monocoque. The glass and stem are removed to expose the movement. The case back has an after market engraving of a Rose. This could be polished out but has been left for that to be the decision of the new owner.
 
Strap: 
A new 18mm genuine leather strap.
 
Movement: 
A beautiful K885 Jaeger Lecoultre movement. Keeping time to +9 seconds a day with an amplitude of 290 and a beat error of 0.3m/s.
