For sale we have a classy dress watch from Everite. It has a neat 9ct gold case, which has a horned lug design. It measures 30.5mm across, with a depth of 8.5mm and a lug-to-lug measurement of 39mm. This makes it a classic dress watch in terms of proportions and suitable for a male or female wrist. The horn lugs give the watch extra presence on the wrist.
It has a bright silver dial with grained sunburst finish which radiates from the centre. The simple gold tone Arabic and baton alternating hour markers are eyecatching. There are simple dash minute markers around the exterior, with a cross hair sub-second dial. The dial is neatly signed Everite Embassy. 
To the rear is the solid case back, with the bezel being removed to access the movement. The inside of the case has British hallmarking for 9ct gold from Edinburgh assay office, dating it to 1960. Inside is the AS 1690 movement, which is shock-protected. It is a reliable Swiss movement, keeping time to within +20 seconds a day. 
 
This neat little watch has numerous touches of quality design that combine to create a timeless dress watch. With creative horn lug deisgn, a grained sunburst dial and a gold case, what more could you want?

Dial: 
The dial is original and is in good condition with some small marks and small scratches. The applied hour markers have slight surface corrosion.
 
Hands: 
The hands are original and are of Pencil style. They are a gold tone and have little signs of corrosion.
 
Glass: 
The acrylic crystal is a modern replacement and is in very good condition. 
 
Crown: 
The crown is original, in a gold tone. It functions well.
 
Case:
The case is formed of 9ct gold and is in good condition. It has its original polished finish with light surface scratching. The horn lugs are good and unbent. 
 
Rear of case:
The rear of the case is 9ct gold and is in good condition with light surface scratches.
 
Strap: 
The watch comes on a new genuine leather strap.
 
Movement: 
The movement is an AS 1690. It is a manual wind movement, with sub-second hand and a jewel count of 17. It is shock protected, with a frequency of 18,000 BPH and a 50 hour power reserve. 
 
The service history is unknown, but the watch is functioning well. It’s keeping time to +20 seconds a day, with an amplitude of 255 degrees and a beat error of 2.8m/s.
