1950s "Super" chronograph watch, gold plated, Swiss Ebauche Venus 188.

36mm x 36mm case diameter. Recently serviced.

This is a charming 1950s chronograph with a gilt finish Venus 188 movement inside.
The chronograph pushers are petite and original and are beautiful in their shape and design.
The dial has an even patina which fits the watch well. The dial is nicely balanced with Arabic 12 and 6and diamond hour marks.

The watch has a chronograph timing hand with tachymetre around the outside. The sub-second dial at 9 o'clock
is the constant second, whilst the sub dial at 3 o'clock counts up to 30 minutes on the chronograph.

Recently serviced keeping time to within +6 seconds a day.
