1945 Movado Calendograf Triple Date Pointer watch, gold plated case, for repair.
The movement is not functioning. This is due to a balance issue. The watch is sold for servicing, repairs or parts.
This is a good example of a Calendograf triple date pointing watch by Movado for the mid 1940s. It is also in good overall condition cosmetically. This makes it a good project for someone.

Dial:
The dial is in good condition for the age. The right side of the dial has some wear to the outer most track which shows the seconds.
Hands:
The hands are all in good condition.
Glass:
Replacement high dome crystal in excellent condition.
Crown:
A good fit to the watch, I can't vouch for it's originality.
Case:
A case that is free of wear to the gold plate to the top with no large scratches. The bottom of the case, on the lugs and sides has suffered some losses of gold plate.
Caseback:
Maintains original circular graining, light surface scratching. In very good overall condition.
Strap:
A new 18mm genuine leather strap.
Movement:
