1940s Rolex Oyster Viceroy Ref. 3359, with beautiful 14k Pink Gold bezel, and stainless case. 
 
A beautiful example with a very clean and unpolished case, overall this is all original and a very attractive watch.
Signed dial, crown, case back and movement.

Dial:
The dial is original and is in good-average condition, with the minutes track remaining clear, apart from between 3 and 6 where it has faded. The Rolex crown is clear on the dial, along with the "Rolex Oyster Viceroy Chronometer" writing. Swiss made is also clearly visible at the bottom of the dial. The middle is a silver, champagne finish which changes in the light. The outer sector is discoloured with age and appears a light green colour. The Radium lume is original and intact, with it having aged to a dark green colour. 
Hands:
The hands are original and are in good condition. They are thermally blued, Lance/Alpha style hands and maintain an excellent tone, with no discolouration The radium lume infill remains intact and has aged to a dark orange colour. 
 
Glass:
The glass is original and in overall good-average condition. There is no clouding or stress fractures. There are some light to medium surface scratches which can be polished.
 
Crown:
The crown is original and in excellent condition. It is signed "Oyster Patent".
 
Case:
The case is in good condition with only light surface scratches. The lugs maintain bevelled edges.
 
NOTE: A previous owner has etched "Swiss" into the lug on the left hand underside. I have no idea why... This is not an incredibly deep engraving. It is crudely done.
 
Case back:
Strong condition with multiple light surface scratches. The RWC, Stainless Steel mark is clear, however the serial number is partially rubbed. The coin edge back remains in good condition.
 
Strap:
New, 16mm Leather strap.
 
Movement:
A beautiful 17 jewel movement, adjusted to two positions. Recently serviced and keeping good time.
