1940s (1944) Omega watch Ref 2375, Early Bumper automatic 28.10 RA SC, Rare Arabic Radium numerals, with lumed syringe hands.

This is a beautiful example of a rare and desirable reference 2375 from Omega. The watch functions well, but hasn't been serviced by ourselves. It is keeping time to +40 seconds a day with an amplitude of 230 and a beat error of 1.3m/s.

The dial is the most aesthetically pleasing aspect of the watch. The finish is an eye-catching silver satin tone. It has clear, hour and minute rail road track around the outside, with an inset sub-second dial. The Omega logo, name and word automatic are clear at unworn at 12 O'clock. The numerals are the real killer aspect of this watch, with Radium paint over the black outline, creating a 3 dimensional texture to the dial.

The syringe hands are original and in excellent condition, with radium paint, matching the numerals.

The case is very pleasing with its brushed finish on the sides and lugs, with smooth bezel. The lug design is another aspect that makes this reference stand out.

This is an early Bumper automatic, Cal 28.10 RA SC. It has 17 jewels. This movement calibre was first produced in 1943 and this example is from 1944.
