1940s Avia dress watch with fixed lugs, AS calibre 984 15 jewels, English made. The clear dial has very attractive arabic numerals and thin sword hands. The sub second dial is clear with its original thermally blued hand. 
 
The watch has been recently serviced.
 
Dial: 
The dial is in original condition, with nicely aged patina. 
 
Hands:
The hands are un-bent and un-corroded. They are thermally blued in colour and original.
 
Glass:
The crystal is a replacement and is in perfect condition. 
 
Crown:
The crown is original and sits against the case nicely.
 
Case: 
The case is in average condition, with wear to the plating in most areas.
 
Case back:
Good condition with multiple light surface scratches.
 
Strap:
New open ended strap fitted.
 
Movement:
AS Cal 984 15 jewels. It has been serviced and functions perfectly.
