Here we have a beautiful circa 1928 George V silver trivet/teapot stand, which was manufactured by Docker & Burn Ltd of Barr Street, Birmingham. It has hallmarking for silver from Birmingham assay office dating to 1928 and further Dublin assay office import hallmarking, also dated to 1928. It is of a highly decretive form with the radial circular pattern, of the Gothic style much like that of a cathedral window tracery. It has the original plate glass base.
 
It could also be used as a coaster or simply just an enjoyable centre piece on a table.
 
It is in good condition, remaining unpolished. The hallmarking is well defined and clear. It has light surface scratching associated with age. The plate glass base is in very good condition with no obvious marking.
