Here we have a beautiful circa 1923 Omega trench style watch. It has the 32mm case which is formed of Nickel with the snap-on bezel and hinged case back. The dial is enamel and is a bright white tone, with the Italic stylised Arabic numerals. It is signed with the Omega name and logo below 12, with the inset sub-seconds at 6 O’clock. The hands are thermally blued and are of a very unusual style, with the Omega logo! We have only ever seen this on Omega pocket watches before, so this is very uncommon. The case back is signed inside with the Omega logo and serial number. The movement is a 15 jewel Omega manual wind calibre with the perlage finishing. It has been recently serviced and is keeping good time for the age.

The dial is formed of enamel and has an even, bright white tone. It has the classic railroad track for the minutes around the exterior, with the Italic stylised Arabic numerals. This is a classic font found during the Art Deco period, somewhat inspired by Ancient Egyptian influence. Below 12 is the Omega name, with the logo. The sub-second dial is inset at 6 O’clock with matching railroad track, 10 seconds Arabic graduations and single second markers. The sub-second hand is thermally blued with the lollipop counterbalance.

The standout aspect of the watch is the hand set. Omega symbol hands! These thermally blued hands are beautiful, with the skeletonised Omega logo set before the pointed tips. This is an uncommon hand set, which we have only ever seen on pocket watches before. They are a really neat addition which is a joy to look at.

The case measures 32mm x 32mm which is a standard gents size for the period. It has a total lug-to-lug measurement of 35.6mm with a slim depth of 10mm. The lug width is slim at 12mm, but once again this is standard for the era.

The case is formed of nickel with the snap-on bezel and hinged case back. It has the wire lugs which are solid and are original. To the right is the original onion style crown.

Inside it is signed with the Omega logo of the era, with the serial number.

The movement is a classic 15 jewel manual wind calibre of the period, with the perlage finishing to the bridges which catches the eye. It is marked as adjusted to two positions. The serial number dates it to 1923. It has been recently serviced and is running well and keeping time to within +50 seconds a day. It has an amplitude of 325 degrees and a beat error of 0.7m/s.

This is a very enjoyable trench style watch with the added bonus of the Omega style hands!

The watch is modelled on a 7" wrist circumference.
