This is a stunning Art Deco period dress watch that combines aesthetically pleasing style and design, along side a quality and reliable movement from a luxury maker.
The circular, tri-stepped case is a highly unusual design which you will likely not come across again. This is also, still very early for the common useage of Stainless Steel, highlighting the quality of this case design. Hard wearing and dependable, this case has stood up well against 80 years of use.
The lugs extend from the case and curve to follow the circular curviture of the case. This curved continuation is added to by curved wire lugs that further enhance the circular case design.
The dial is in very good condition for the age of the watch. It has some marks and dirt but this is limited considering the age. The Copper coloured dial has an inset sub second dial with dark blue/black seconds track.
The circular theme radiates from the dial with the Zenith logo sat within a circle. The hour markers and arabic numerals are also contained within another circle. This means that the outer minute track sits nicely around the outside of the dial.
The baton style hands are thermally Blued with a shine that catches the light very nicely.
The sturdy and reliable 106-P calibre movement is hidden beneath the snap case back.
The onion crown matches the movement nicely and look great adding a textured look.
The inside of the case back is marked:
Stainless Steel, Zenith, 8299484
The case measures 31mm x 31mm with a 32mm case width including crown. The lug width is 16mm.
The movement has been serviced and comes with a one year warranty.
